Praise & Worship

The praise group of the Church of God in La Rochelle is composed of ten people whose desire is to be the worshipers whom the Father asks, to lead and develop a life of adoration within the church through singing and music.

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:23-24 NIV)

The time is near, says the Lord Jesus Christ, where adoration of pure form, or in holy places, will no longer conform to the Father’s request. He must be worshiped with the heart, in spirit and in truth. A spiritual worship can be offered to him anywhere, where the soul can humble himself before God.
Better: “God is Spirit. This statement is fundamental. Since He is Spirit, He must receive spiritual worship, Him who is omnipresent.
Our desire is to give the best of ourselves for the service of God and to give ourselves wholly in our relationship with Christ and with all the saints of all Christian denominations.

“My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul. Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise you, Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies” (Psalms 108:1-4)
